Yeah they are. Keeps the chain at the proper angles, takes up slack, and helps to keep the chain from bouncing.

man ever since i put that shock on it has been making some funny noises... i know its the rollers for sure but i cant get my chain tight enough to take up alot of slack either... i know your running a shee rear so you dont have a much differnt angle then stock maybe its just time for a new chain??? gotta hear from some one with a 660 rear who has the same problem as me.... and i got your pm about your buddy get him on here man i really wanna talk to his stubborn ass!!!!! and some one needs to pickme and my wheeler up for this hatfield trip!!! just sayin

Have you tried to lube them? Inspect and make sure that they have plenty of meat on them. You're a little out of the way for me to pick your ass up. Lol. Just throw the ruck sac over your shoulder, put a leash on the warrior, and road march your ass up there, MARINE!!!! Lmao.

the power lip is what i have on there now i belive and it dosent have a bearing or it has been blown apart. I'm not really sure i just know when i slow down it makes one hell of a noise lol i'll get it fixed some day.... And jim i have buddies that have used skateboard wheels for chain rollers an their custom chops and it does work really well. Now i have a question...... if i dont cut down the wheel will it take the slack out of my chain to where its supposed to be? cause like i said i can not get it tight for the life of me... and yes i know it need like a .5 inch of play but mine has and inch or so up and down and i dont like it at all.

actually I bet it is the roller on the swingarm tube because mine makes a loud noise and it comes from there and luckily I have a spare lol

these are 2 expensive, but i did a quicky search for ideas, my 1 friend i ride with uses full size skate board wheels on his 660 raptor, i havent studyied it but i would imagine it would take up slack, maybe to much, dunno, i got a regular "store bought" (like $6 shipped) upper and i don't think the chain even seen it yet:eek: no bearings in that 1, the lower was toast/gone, ill find pics an post them, I drilled it out and just used a bolt, midway had some good posts to me about it, thats how i came up with this, did you physically look at ur lower?

I never had the noise that your talking about ms but if your chain and rollers are bad Id just get a new chain and rollers before that chain decides to snap and do some damage to the case

Whoa dude!!
That looks down right nasty..
See MS warrior. That flat spot is what happens when you run with no roller.

Ya I haven't looked at it yet I just get on it and ride to my stand and that's about it I go real slow in and out so I should be fine for now. It's sitting in my buddies field right now so I wont be able to look at it till Sunday when I head back out and ill let you guys now for sure.

got it! i went to his house last night for dinner and got looking at my rollers......or what used to be my rollers and the bottom one was wore the **** out!!! it some how had flat spotted on one side and what i could hear was the links sliding over the metal when i deceleratedddddd. i tolk the one off the top for shits and giggles and put it on the bottom and boomno weid noise any more. but now whn i'm chugging along it cracks and pops and really just runs like ****. i think i have o clean the carb out for the 100th time lol i was really waiting to find a muffler and just jet it while i was in there but that **** aint going to wait i use it to much. UNLESS some one wants to send my cool ass a pipe!!! any takers?
