so this weekend out at the ATV park I noticed when I would shift gears and hit the throttle fast the clutch would slip for like a second and then grab but if I was easy on the throttle it was fine. New clutch? or does it need to be adjusted? this is the motor out of the 92 and it's still the 02 clutch cable so I'm hoping an adjustment or switching cables will fix it. any Ideers?

I would first try to adjust the cable and see what happens. Might be that simple. But, a new clutch might be in your future. They are simple to do, also. Cables are the same on all warriors, but, not all clutchs wear the same. If your old engine clutch was more or less wear then the engine currently in there, and you did not readjust the cable for the diff clutch, sliping or draging can result.

What brand clutch should I get? Tusk?probably all I can afford right now but would like to go with Barnett but just can't swing the cash for it what's the best clutch for trail riding that will last?

I have the ebc dirt racer clutch kit in my warrior and my 88 trx300 4x4. Both have been great for me. Haven't had any issues as of yet. The stock clutch is a good unit, too. Just installing oem type friction plates and deglazing the discs is all that is usually required.
