Never fails... As soon as you fix up that bike in the garage. Something else gives out. Just replaced chain sprockets all bearings. Go to ride tonight. Click Click Click. The sound of a warn out starter. So I am carrying a little rock to tap on it for now because I don't want to wrench on you little bike of mine.

It's probably because some giant douche owned it before me who thinks its common practice to leave the bike parked in a mud pit for the night while he's drunk off two beers and puking his guts out. Or he wanted to see how many times he could jump it off a ramp while weighing in at 325 pounds. Yeah leave it outside all winter long. Why wont it start. Well time to post it on Craigslist.... *********

Yeah mines a first gen so it has had 24+ years of a hard life lol so I exspect things to break now and then

at least a starter is only 2 8mm bolts and only cost's $40 for a new one and takes about 5 minutes to replace I guess all I'm saying is it could be worse man lol

Yeah but that's the price of fun and what machine can you honestly say never needs to be fixed or wrenched on at some point in it's life

You couldn't of said it better mr.jim You jersey folks have a great sense of humor. I will say that the members of this site are extremely helpful when it comes to troubleshooting a problem. I'm sure a new starter will be on my bike in a couple of days. Gotta pay to play. But for now I'm going to hit the old one with a rock. LOL
