If you read my other thread you know that I bought a Warrior for $500 with a locked up motor. I have another motor on its way to my house. Until then I am going to pull the old motor and clean up the frame. Frame is the stock silver grayish color. Have you guys found a spray paint that closely matches the stock color? I want to touch up the bare spots. I plan do a lot of masking, not a complete teardown.
I found a lot of mismatched bolts when removing plastics and some of them were missing altogether. Where do you guys go for replacements?
Thanks

tear it down and paint the whole frame a new color. you be happy in the long run that you did. But stock Yamaha silver, I don't know the exact color, its a powercoat, so I dunno if they make an EXACT spray paint color.

If you want a spray paint that will last, get the stuff that they put out for wheels. Its not Yamaha silver, but is some pretty durable rattle can stuff. Also bare areas, you will want to prime, and I recommend a self etching primer.
Like Dead said, tear it down. If you just mask and spray it wont turn out as good and may be even more noticeable.

I agree with you guys. It makes more sense to tear all it all down and do it right. Which is why I think I'm going to pull the old motor, clean everything real good, and put it all back together and ride. I want to ride this thing before I make it some extensive project to be sure I like it. I want to keep this around $1000 project. I've seen the snowball effect from looking through this site and I want to avoid that as much as possible.

I would still like to know where I can pick up some hardware for this thing if ya'll have any suggestions.

For hardware just hit your local hardware store up. Just bring bolts that are the same size with to match up the threads and get the length's you need.
