Crank case breather

Coming out of the crankcase... it says yamaha, it lets pressure ( air out)
and yes you do need it, it prevents crap from getting in
 
Us warrior owners relocate it there because the stock vent hose hooks up to the airbox lid. So when we take the lid off and toss it we need something to keep **** out of the vent (and it looks cool).
 
im puttin mine in there when i get a new adaptor

the filter is sitting on the top of the block now

The problem with it sitting on the block is that it leaves the filter/vent exposed pretty badly to excessive water and mud conditions.

Won't be ridden without finishing the mod.
