Custom Engines

K I Love the size and feal of the warrior but i hate the size of the engine. Does anybody know of any other engine that might fit in the frame with little work or what i can do to my 1989 motor to make it go alot faster. Also im looking to do harescrambles in NE ohio, anybody out here. Look at what i already have for it and tell me if there is anything i should get or what you would recomending for this type of racing.

I see you have a HMF exhaust, do you also have a filter and jets? If not, that will make a nice difference. There's a lot more you can do, but those are the basics and will wake it up some. For the harescrambles-skid plates, six ply tires, a big fat front bumper for when you run into things/people, a nice wide grab bar in case you need to use it to lift the bike, shocks will make the ride a lot smoother which will tire you out less, and I'm sure I'm forgetting a few other things.

I'm going to be running the AWRCS series this year, which is PA, OH, MD, and WV so I may see ya out there sometime.

ya, you c mak it a hybrid quad, youll just have to make mounts for the new engine, i'v seen a warrior with with a YFZ 450 engine in it, it did look like it took too much, i acutally thought that it was small than the 350 engine

For yakuza Yeah i have a K an N airfilter and the HMF came with jets. I have 6 ply teirs only backs though do you think i need 6 ply in the front, and i have the bumper and grab bar that are both pritty thick so i think i will be good with that along with the shocks.

I acctualy havent put my warrior back together yet im just looking for stuff to do to it before i do put it back together. Also im looking for somthing that will alread fit in the brackets becuase i just put a paint job on it and it cost to much to go grind on it and weld to it. If nobody knows of anything that will in the stock brackets then whats the best to make this thing get faster.

Yes, 6ply fronts also. I can shred a stock (or any 2 and possibly 4ply) tire in no time flat in the woods. Flat tires means a LOT of time lost in a race if you have a tire to change to, or a DNF which isn't helping you out at all either.....
