junk my buddy bought it for his 94 and he just trail rides after the 4th ride the packing and spark arrestor blew out and made it loud as **** plus the end cap is cheap cast aluminum not welded like HMF or other pipes

My warrior I just bought came with a DG exhaust on it and it doesnt have the spark arrestor on it. It is so loud that it gets annoying to ride sometimes. I have been on the hunt for a stock or better exhaust.

I may let my spare stock exhaust go. been trying to track down the stock headlights for mine.

The DG pipes aren't all that bad.. The head pipe makes a bit of power, but the mufflers are cheap. Depending on what your budget is, I say try it.. You can't always go off what others opinions are of a product.

IMO. The best bang for your buck is an FMF powerbomb head pipe, and power core 4 muffler. Pull the snorkle, and drill some holes in your airbox lid. Run a 150 main jet.

You'll notice the change in performance, but the FMF parts aren't cheap.

with my fmf I'm runnin a 155 main and thats with a stock box with a K&N filter on it and I really love my FMF

Yah I guess it all depends on your altitude, and other mods.. I'm at around 3000' ft, and found the 150 worked good. I tried the 145, and a 43 pilot. But it was fat down low, and hit lean up top. The 155 was to fat for my 366, and it blew black smoke with that jet.
So I would say 150 main 42.5 pilot.

I like the DG aluminum mufflers. I have an "O" series and it's been great for the year I've had it.

that's not my opinion it is personal experience with the piece of **** exhaust
maybe other DG exhaust's are good but that one specifically isn't worth $50 in my personal experience with it.

I put a steel DG slip on, on my buds warrior when I rebuilt the top end a year and a half ago. He hasn't had any issues with it, yet. But, the doesn't ride as hard as I do. Hauler, did your friend contact DG? They are usually pretty good about working with you. I like the "O" series I have. Nice fit and finish, sounds great, and light weight. And it was affordable at the time, because I had about a grand worth of work to do to my bike when I 1st got it. Speaking of money invested into a warrior, I'd be cool to have a pole on how much each of us have spent on our bikes.

Well yah I know what your say'n.. I just meant that you never really know till you try it for yourself. I understand that he wanted the advice from others to save hassle, and money. (I wouldn't pay a $150 for that muffler either)

I've always thought that the Xcelerator kits look cool though? The seem to offer a bit more bang for your buck. (Their kinda like a super trap muffler) They come with a new head pipe as well.

I think ill hold off and try to find a used or save up and buy an HMF. I like the looks of the round case mufflers. Im not looking for the power gains, just want something a little bit louder than stock.

If you just want louder pull the baffel out. That's how I'm running mine only cause thats how I got it. But I'm about to get 98's big gun i hope.
