ive pretty much always run DID chains on my bikes and currently have an xring chain on my 96. I need a chain for my 98 and im looking to save a bit of money cause Rocky Mountain has primary drive chain and sprocket kits that are the same price as just a DID chain. Anyone had any experience with primary drive chains? are they worth the money in the long run or should i just get a DID chain?

the chains are good and the sprockets are too. thats what i run. i have had the same sprockets for a year and a half and they have been put through the paces.

Yeah, Primary drive stuff is pretty good for the money. I have buddy's that run there stuff. I think If I have to get new anytime, I might go that route.

last chain i ran on my warrior was primary. i had it for about a week and it broke in 3 places after me & my buddy fought with Jersey quicksand for 45 mins getting both of our quads out. IMO they are junk. i ran DID before this and bought one after and never had a problem with it
