Well Its a new trade so Im constantly inspecting and the other day I noticed the left rear tire was ridiculously wobbly so I took off the nut and the tire. It seemed ok until further investigation and i noticed the threaded end to the axle was slightly bent.

It gets better.

I also noticed there was no cotter pin. Why? because the nut is not oem. It looks to be some nut someone found out in their garage. So anyways I go to tighten it back on and the nut keeps turning.... and turning... and turning. Dammit, who would have guessed, stripped. The nut itself is the worse but there is a sketchy spot on the threaded end. Im going to order the oem nut and see how it goes on and tightens.

Am I better off getting a new +2 axle? or even a used oem? Is it a pain in the ass to replace an axle? I reckon I get new bearings and seals for the carrier while Im at it.

I will def keep that in mind. Going to try the nut first though. Trying to save a buck or two
