Hate creating anther thread about jetting. But jetsrus.com and some people on here have a different opinion.

Do Dynojet jets vary in size from OEM Mikuni jets? Because if jetsrus.com is correct, the largest jet in dynojets kit (150) is equal to a 140 OEM... Which doesn't make sense because why would you want to pay $50 for this kit with small jets?:loco:

I put a larger pilot jet, bought from a local dealer, and put the dj150 in this weekend and its running great, better than it has since I originally jetted it a few years ago. I was thinking of getting an OEM 147.5 or 150 and trying that. But I kinda don't want to mess with it now since its running fine, but now that I have a better understanding of jetting. I want to get the most out of my machine.

The key to the dynojet setup is they take the guesswork out of it.
They also test different needle tapers and jet sizes to figure out what stage is best for your mod setup.
But if your up for your own testing and tuning do it, we encourage it. But if you don't know your way around a carb or are lazy or need some of the parts that come with it, then buy the dynojet
