does it matter if those slider pieces to adjust the chain are even with each other?? the bolts are the same length out, i measured em but was jsut wondering if those sliders should be even or not.

One of them is probably loose. Try loosening up the 2 big bolts again, then pull back on the axle to see if it moves back any more. Just because the adjusters are threaded in the same amount doesn't mean that the axle is straight, it can still freely move forward, so give it a tug and see what happens.

If it doesn't slide back and it seems like the axle is straight I wouldn't worry about it.

Looks like u got some oil leaking... lol ur pic reminds me i need to tighten my chain... but back on topic... ughh aslong as the wheels and everything else is straight and even it should be fine.. but if u are like a perfect freak then just make them so their straight and even...-

naw the spot on the floor is kandn filter lube that dripped a little out of my airbox, thanx for the replies... anyone else??

holy crap you use that much????

Mine have been miss aligned before never had a problem. But you should worry about getting a skid haha, let me tell you, bent rotors wear pads out about 15 times as fast as unbent rotors.

Is it just me or is the left side adjusting bolt bent? It looks like it has been bent up if so this will affect the adjusting length on it. Skid plate can save you some $$ in the future.

Use a tape measure and measure from the back axle (at the outer ends) to the front of the machine and make sure both sides are equal.

yea there bent... when that skid busted it cam up the back and bend those bolts up, i just ordered a new skid and 2 new adjuster bolts, thanx for the help

You can not measure the bolts its not going to be correct!!! YOU MUST TIGHTEN THOSE ADJUSTERS EVENLY OR YOU WILL **** YOUR BEARINGS REAL FAST!

nope. You need to do it on a level surface, but lifting it up doesn't matter.

squeaking is just a sign that you need to clean and lubricate it, free play in the bearing is a sign that they're worn out.
