this is how i installed my duel piston front caliper on the rear of my warrior.

parts list

1x left front yfz caliper
1x grinder
2x m8x1.25 bolts
1x aluminum plate

entire process took me about 2 hours.

step one, remove he oem rear caliper and cut off the two welded on spacers that are on the oem carrier.

Great!
Now I'll just have to score a caliper.
I found some 3/8" Aluminum diamond tread out here on the ship. Do you think that is strong enough?
If so, is there any way you can give me the deminsions, hole spacings and such? I could fab some of them up out here.

Looks great!!

ok I have a dumb question, what year is your bike and what rotor did you use. I have an 87 so I know I would need a larger rotor for that to work. Also I have a RAD Carrier so I dont know if it would fit the same.

so you got some 3/8 diamond plate? yea that should be fine! i used .25" aluminum plate on mine, pm me a email an i can sent you a scan of the part trace to you and you can cut it!

thanks! hmm im not to sure either i have it on a 02 so it has the late model carrier and caliper mounts but its not hard to fab up the bracket the first time! should work fine with your bike after you build the bracket.

here is the scan, note that the scan isnt to 100% scale so use the measurements on the paper to properly get the wholes lined up.

Quick question, how is the pad contact to the disk? Looks to me like the bracket needs to have more of a downward slope to it so that the pad get mor of a full contact. Right now it looks as if it's sitting forward a bit and to horizontal, so that the pads back half is getting more of the area in contact the the center should? Or is it right on center?

$50 shipped isn't to bad a price. Is it aluminum?

its perfectly centered on the disc it just looks like that in the pics next time i pull the right rear off ill get a better pic of it.

yea, 1/4' aluminum.

I got all of my calipers on last night.
When out for a little R&D today. Here is what I found,
I have more brakes than tires
All of the brakes are right there when you pull the lever or push the pedal.
The rear bracket is plenty tough, which was my worry.
I did some high speed pavement stops, no problems.

You really have to get used to the rear though, it is very touchy.

Overall I think it is a much needed upgrade. Money well spent.
It does need a shorter brake line to make it a slick install.
