Hey guys i know that all of you with the edelbrocks got a new connector joint with your Edelbrock.

My rubber connector after the carb blew out yesterday and the dealer here wants almost 50 bucks for one and i gotta wait for them to order it.

Any of you Edelbrock guys got that rubber peice laying around in a pile in the garage you wanna get rid of?

Are you talking about the intake manifold? And how did it blow out? if it backfired into the carb, you have other problems to check out first, because it shouldn't be doing that.

Ok i used the wrong word ::)

It didnt really blow out, it has a slice down the side of it from heat i guess and i may have nicked it when taking off the carb or something and then that hole grew and finally went through. Not sure.

Either way im just looking for the stock mainfold peice that connects the Carb to the Cylinder. When people buy edelbrock Carbs edelbrock givess them a new peice to put in there.

yeah and it will probibly be pretty expensive sence i payed 366 for mine, i would email or call edelbrock, they are really good to me so hopefully they can help you out also

Oh i see, you need the stock one. Sorry, I ebayed that along with my stock carb. If you go to a powersports shop you should be able to get a new one for under $35. A used one is taking a gamble, because they usually only last a few years because of all the heat. I had 2 of them split down the middle in less than a year and a half.

Ya the cocks here want $45.00. I guess ill choke it up. I was just wanting a stock one for cheap until i get a Edelbrock.
