it would be a lot cheaper to just get an outerwears for your filter you have already. it will do the same thing

I just thought it had a cleaner look to it. Instead of looking rigged up with holes or no lid at all. But i guess who sees it anyway.

an outerwears will keep water and mud from getting packed into the filter even better than one of those actually. The lid outerwears thing won't keep mud and water from going into the snorkel on the airbox, and the part of the lid with the filter on it is almost tight up against the seat anyways where it won't pull in much more air anyways.

id be cheaper to buy a outerwear and screw it to your airbox lid ... might not be as pretty but it will work

That lid looks kinda cool, but I would just do without it. Here are some pictures of my filter. It doesn't look as bad as you would think...

Just ride with the lid on in water and slogging mud and take it off for everything else (but have the Outerwears on all the time).

You can get a K&N clamp on kit with the outerwears for about $100 shipped if you shop around
