I know there are plenty of clutch steel add mod tutorials on the site but I couldn't see anywhere that anyone had an opinion on which position in the clutch basket to install the extra steel? Does anyone have any experience positioning the steel in different places in the basket to see if there was any difference in hook up? Whats best bottom of clutch pack or top or middle?

next to any thin clutch steel basicly to disperse the heat better and leave less gap

All recomendations I've seen were in the middle? Doin' mine this weekend! We'll see how it goes?

Thanks, will do! Mine are getting changed this weekend as well. Then rebuilding A-arms and new front hub bearings. Then hopefully doing a weekend rebuild at tax time...

If you can take pictures and add to the write up that is already done. That way others can see what is being done and make their install easier.

couldn't find zerks, are bosses ok or will I be switching those back out shortly too? can the boss bearings not be tapped for fittings????
