I finally got this thing(96 Warrior bone stock) running!!! after cleaning the carb out 1 more time and it not starting/running. I started checking things out; had spark, had fuel, timing seemed OK & had 125Lbs. compression. put in another new plug, it was getting wet. had power to the new coil I put on originally. decided to try a new coil I bought for a spare, for the heck of it. It starts, idles, fuel enrichment works and run's out good, Yee Haw!!! took it out for a 30-45min ride today.:atv:
the more I rode the more it seemed to blubber at low-mid throttle. decided to move the clip on the metering rod up one to lean it out a little on the low end to-night. when I pulled the carb off I found fuel up in the linkage area. when I tilted the carb to remove it from the bike, the carb leaked fuel around the accelerator plunger when I tilted it to that side. it has two small o-rings in this area. I did see a slot or passage in the throttle plunger guide. I rechecked the float level @ 13MM and it stops air flow when I blow into it(Lung Pressure) and turn it upside down. I believe the carb is ok but... Any body got any idea's???
