:nanner:Its that time! After a year, $1400 in parts, and some "push it off a cliff moments", I am finally getting my warrior back, in running condition, and all ready for the trails! Ive had it ever since september 12 2011, and ever since then, its been my baby and my pride and joy, but also my first serious project dealing with quads. I bought it with 2 flat tires, non-running, and a year worth of sitting in a small dusty building, but it got worse ever since I got it back and torn apart. It had a hole in the airbox, no airfilter, sand in the airbox, torn carb boot, broken clutch handle, and the brakes was shot. Took the right front tire off and saw the piston caliber was worn down to nothing, so theres a new brake setup. After 2 new wheel bearings, a new right front spindle, 2 new front tires, and new brakes, the front end was finished. Carb was rebuilt three times and the carb boot replaced. Still didnt crank after all that, so it sat in the building and me and my dad piddled with it ever so often, so we finally broke down and took it to a professional, and now, were at this point. After all the work, money, time, space, and help from countless sources(including yall of course) its finally done. :slayer: It got to a point where I was gonna part it out, but something about it seemed special to not get rid of it, knowing its my first major project, but then, hopefully if I still have it when, God willing, I end up with kids, maybe they will enjoy it as much as I do and will, but thats many years down the road. This warrior has been a pain in the butt over the past year, almost sold it, almost just gave it away, and my mom kept on saying its not worth all the crap I had to buy and put up with, but you know what? Its actually worth it all, because I took something that was abused by the generation of this day, rebuilt it, and will keep it running for the future generations, to show them that 1. If you work for it and take care of it, it will last a very long time, with usual maintinance. 2. That warriors are built bomb proof, abuse proof, and will never die, no matter the year. 3. That it will help show that the great outdoors, and a 4wheeler is the best entertainment instead of games and television. Overall though, Thanks all of ya'll for all the help and it has been appreciated, and hopefully all of yall will help me out in the future, and I will try my best to return the favor.
