What do you think I should put in first?
1.dynojet Carb kit(dyno, jets, needles) $50
2.K&N air filter $57
3.K&N powerlid $129
4.Stage 1 Hot cam $204
Thats all Royal Distributing sells performance wise for the engine. lol pretty sad.

Cam unless u need a jet kit, then get a K&N soon after cause that will go good with the mods

Dont get a powerlid, or a drop in K&n filter, or a dynojet kit, or a hotcam. They are all a waste of money. Jets are 5 bucks at a local dealer, buying a drop in filter is a crappy mod, buy an intake adaptor, like a noss adaptor and a k&n, and you will have something worth buying. A powerlid is kinda pointless and expensive, just buy the intake adaptor and ditch the lid all together. And a hotcam isnt really a big gain for the money, i reccomend a Webcam, or megacycle cam with a good set of valvesprings, to go along with it. Places like FST and powroll also sell cams, and duncan too.

I have mixed feelings on jet kits. I feel that if you are a complete n00b' to jetting the material that comes with the Dynojet kits is very valuable to the beginner (like schematics of the carb, walking you through the process, tech support, etc...). But if you have jetted carbs before there is no reason to go out and buy an entire kit; that is just my $0.02. As far as purchasing mods I would get everything in the order as follows:

1. Exhaust kit & Jet kit (important to get both at the same time incase you need to re-jet)
2. K&N CLAMP ON kit WITH PRE-FILTER (Outerwears)
3. A cam upgrade should always be combined with a piston kit to return some of your bottom end; get a cam and piston kit at the same time.

As far as cams go I have been quoted on this site many times bashing Hotcams (yes they are a waste) - go with Powroll, FST, or Webcams. Your main goal before doing anything is to allow the motor to breath better initially before digging into the motor (intake & exhaust). This includes a high flowing filter, exhaust system, and carburetor (depending on how good the stock carb(s) are).

yeah if you get s k&n air fliter make sure it the clamp on kit an not just the ones you slide in the air box

I would agree:

1. Clamp on high flow filter + exhaust
2. Cam + piston
3. If you have the money than get a 400 crank and a nitrous booster!!! ;D ;D ;D

you and your nitrous booster ::) ::) nah just kiddin im intrested to see wht that can do.

Wonderful things if it's done right. I'll have to wait a while to get that one done, more than likely spring. You can choose a 15, 20, or 25 hp shot from the one death and me have been thinking about.

Haven't you learned anything from quading yet, you'll never have enough power!!! ;D Realizing this I'll stick to the warrior, gotta love the classic 80's buggy look!
