So I know this has come up before, but I can't find anybody that sells "new" rear rotors for first gens..
When I first joined the forum, someone had posted a link to a first gen cross drilled rotor. I would like to find that again, or find another company that makes them?

I've also been wondering about just upgrading the carrier, and going with the 2nd gen stuff??
I could use some help with this..

I bought a new rotor and pad combo off ebay a year ago for my buds warrior. I'l;l look up the seller's id.

Prob be a better idea to switch to the newer style, for future parts repair.
You know.. I might just do that.
I was planing on making my own jig, so I could build my own +4 swinger with an ASR style carrier. They have the 2nd gen style brake caliper mount.

One thing I wonder about though, is the sprocket hub? Will it sit in, or out more than the 1st gen.. Cause my sprockets line up perfect right now.

Are you sure? Cause I got one for my friends 88, from east coast atv I wanna say. Fit the 1st gen hub perfect.

Just so you know, there are 4 different 1st gen rotor diameters.
When I ordered my RAD carrier they needed to know which rotor I had so they could give me the correct carrier with the proper spacing for the caliper mount.
I would guess this is why it is so difficult to get a new rear rotor for the 87-89's.

Interesting.. I'm gonna have to measure mine tomorrow.

As far sa I know there is only one size and a blaster rotor is a bolt on rotor for the first gens cuz if u go on eBay and find an 87-88 slotted rotor it will also tell you that I fits a blaster 2.......... I will throw a link up in a littlebit

Here are the Yamaha part numbers, you can clearly see that 87 uses a different rotor than 88-89 and 90
Fortunately for 88-89 uses the same rotor as the blaster

Warrior
87 - 1UY-25831-50-00
88 - 2XJ-25831-50-00 (replaces 2GU-25831-51-00)
89 - 2XJ-25831-50-00 (replaces 2GU-25831-51-00)
90 - 3GD-2582W-00-00

Blaster
88 - 2XJ-25831-50-00
90 - 2XJ-25831-50-00

So like I said before there are different rotors used on the 1st gen warriors as RAD manufactures said.
