its a denton steering stabilzer, completely rebuildable if it breaks,
The Denton Rebuildable Steering Damper features an aluminum body and CNC billet aluminum brackets. Features (7) speed adjustment settings. Easy installation. A replacement rebuild kit is also available.
Available for all models.

sorry, forgot answer your question, it depends, supposedly it has 6 or so different setting adjustments.
