ok midway, for some reason i like that better and i think easier to drill on that angle. thanks

I found after drilling several sets that it is easiest to center punch, drill a pilot hole then drill with just a little smaller bit than the final size. Then I use a round file to clean up the hole and get it round and to the right size. Seems like the drill bit never does a real nice clean round hole on the thin aluminum.

ha ha, i already have it center punched, pilot drills laying there ready to drill and i said to myself, hmmmm looks close, i think it will work fine but let me ask to be sure, things that make you go HMMMMMMMMMM:iagree:

That's where I put mine. Works great so far, have no complaints. I took my tires off my rims completely and drilled fromt the inside of the rim.

that would make drilling easier, i only broke beads so i did like midway and it worked out great, tires reseated easy to, no strap needed, i couldnt get true flush mounts so i put 1" stems in backward, put loctite on valve cap and tighten with pliers
