Eh the can has a lot of blemishes but those are easy i would value it at slightly less though but cleaned up ones ive seen go for 140

I got this thing because a lot of people said that the FMF stuff isn't as loud as HMF and others. I called FMF today and asked lots of stuff. He said they are 98Db.

How loud is that going to be compared to stock without the baffle?

They do sell a quiet core for around $40 and he said it would drop it to about 96Db. Anyway at this point I am committed.

I can't tell by the photo, but I am a little confused as to whether it is for a Raptor or a Warrior. When I talked to the guy first he said Warrior then said Raptor and the add says 05 Raptor. The plan is to put it on my Raptor. I don't see any mounting tabs on it either and the guy says there aren't any on it and no clamp with it. Doesn't appear that it had a clamp around it either. Anyone know what I need there?

haha very rare find ya it probably is raptor. youll just need a strap and spacer made to mount it

Clean her up & enjoy man, a good ole Brillo pad Will do wonders! Heck man, my Trapp was a feebie given to me by my cousin who had it given to him by a guy that basically threw away a whole bunch of parts b/c the quad caught fire. My pipe was a Friggin mess, black soot & melted plastic all over it. I cleaned it up with a Brillo & then a lil #7 polish & it looks pretty good.

Good thing I got it for $34 less than he had it listed. Since the clamps and hardware aren't there, I called FMF. $24 plus shipping for the hardware kit. Kid includes the clamp for attaching to the headpipe, silencer body to frame clamp, bolts and spacers. Still a pretty good deal, I think.

Heck man when i got my yosh off ebay it didnt have the strap mount, i just made one outta aluminum and polished it nice. I made a spacer and works great

I had been watching a new Power Core 4 that was $248 free shipping. Was contemplating pulling the trigger when this used one popped up.

I will probably make my own mounting stuff. Just getting all my info lined up so I can get it on as soon as it arrives.

From what FMF told me today, one strap around the silencer body to the upper frame tab is it.

Got the silencer today. Decent shape except the anodizing on the can was pretty rough. Took it apart and cleaned it up and glass bead cleaned the can. Ended up making my own clamp and spacer. Made two clamps, but ends up only needing one. Now it and a pair of wheels will go to powder coat on Monday.

Once I get this thing on the Raptor, then I can get back to modding the Warrior.
