Alright, I really only ride in the woods and am looking to try and go about this the cheap way.. Money is tight right now. I'm looking at getting some plus +2 a-arms and using my banshee front shocks, which for right now suit me perfect. There set on the middle setting and I feel like there still a little soft yet. I'm wondering if I could use these for the +2's and just turn the pre-load up and still have it ride like it does now. Still would like to do small jumps and not have it bottom out and not be harsh like the stock shocks. Is it even worth trying to have these respringed or revalved for cheap?
Thanks for the help. I know nothing about suspension and finding that just the small upgrade from stock to banshee shocks is great.

i was wonderin the same thing..i still have the stock shocks..i want to get banshee shocks soon..i think YFZ shocks would work better with a +2 setup..but i think there would be some modifications needed..

Ja they will probably end up way to soft even on full preload. When I put the +3 on, my old works which were setup for +2 sagged badly, when I called works to ask him about it he said they definitly need to be revalved for the added leverage.

Yeah... damn. I was really worried about that. I think I got these set on the third setting and I believe there's only 2 or 3 more to go as far as pre load goes. If I where to keep them now with the stock a arms I would set them one higher. I bet they'd be really soft with +2's.

imo with +2's the banshee shocks would be way soft, even on the stiffest preload. you dont want to ride on either end of your shocks extreme. if i ever went with +2's id get some nice aftermarket shocks that i can have some adjustability each way with.

YFZ shocks won't work either. The shock is physically longer than the shock on a Warrior. Adding extended A-arms does not increase the length of the shock, just the leverage on the shock. You could always try the Banshee shocks with added preload and see what happens. I don't really think it would work out, but may not be all that horrible until you can upgrade. Just keep in mind that a lot of A-arm manufacturers will void the warranty if you're on stock shocks. So if they're too soft, I wouldn't ride it until you can upgrade. If you bend an arm because of a shock that bottoms out nonstop your SOL.

Yup, you guys are right. Rode the pig yesterday and while I think that the shocks are an upgrade to what it was before, there is no way the the banshee shock will work front a +2 front end. They are just to soft. They are really soft now on the 3rd setting. For sure I'm going to run more pre-load just with the stock arms.
