I have a popping noise still coming from my front sprocket area, would anyone know why?

If you can hear it, its chain pop, if you done have a case saver you better check your chain and sprockets before risking it.

I really don't think its in the motor, sounds kinda like the chain popping over a sprocket tooth and I got a new chain, i have new sprockets, just change them y'all think? and yea duner I plan on it! soon as these taxes come back! and new tires :)

Check your rollers. Mine flat spotted some how and made a popping sound to it drove me nuts. I changed the rollers with a set of westons with a case saver and no more popping sounds.

Well, I looked at it and the carrier bearings r out. I think that is binding the chain causing the pop when I get on it. Does that sound reasonable?

The last ride I went on was probably the toughest roughest muddiest biggest poker run I have ever seen! It definitely put the bike through its paces and the bearings and bushings that were starting to go, went! Man I was so sore and worn out that night! Had to cross flooded creek at the end of the trail, was only way out! by the other end of the ride I was the only sport bike left! Some nasty stuff! Fun as hell though! Now just gotta get her ready for spring!
