Heat it up with a torch, and then try it?
It'll probably wreck the seal, but thats fairly easy to replace.

yea thats why i was avoiding that, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do:iagree: what kills me is my manifold nuts came off after a 2 day soak, almost by hand and this bitch wont budge....

You could always try cutting a "releaf" in the nut with a cut off wheel. Maybe even 2 releafs and split it with a hammer and chisle. That is if you are comfortable doing it. You'd be less likely to damage the threads that way then heating it and cross threading the nut the whole way off. Unless ofcourse you get too far into nut with the cut off wheel. Then get a new nut and make it into it's own thread chaser and use some antisieze on it and thread that bitch on to clean up the threads on the shaft.

you did remember to bend the tabs on the washer behind the nut
so it wasn't locking the nut in place right?

no tabs (but i did go look:haha:) either heat or cut requires parts, but i guess ill pick 1 ! no one commented on the "hammering" gears yet, i was thinkin a 1" impact that i use on semi's tires.........

im gonna try my breaker bar with a 8 ft pipe, somethings gonna break, updates soon!!!! (this been on back burner but now its cookin:tup:)
