Does anyone one a better way to take the front shocks apart so I can paint them both yellow because right now I have very old shock covers. I wanted to paint them because one of my springs is silver and one is yellow. I have done a lot of painting to my warrior :D . The next paint job I will probably do is handlebars or a-arms or maybe the whole frame.

Buy a new set of ohlins so the springs are already yellow, they are awesome performance wise also!!! ;D ;D ;D

I think he was joking. Those shocks probably cost close to or as much as your entire warrior was. I don't see an easy way to paint the old shock springs, so i'd just get another set of shock covers.

The ohlins are about the same exact price as the elkas, the good thing is they have some kickass dampers and they are the only company to make a piggyback rear shock for the warrior. If you got the cash they are a very good investment. The tough part is finding a place that will deal them or build them to suite your riding style ect. since they are built in sweden. I was lucky, there is a shop that is a official ohlins builder about a hour away from me (in Waterford MI), otherwise you have to contact mx tech to have them done. For those who might consider ohlins I put the link in the Links thread, it's called tech care suspension. You may not be able to buy the ohlins there but at least it's a place to have them worked on or fine tuned.

wow! I was looking at new shock covers on the alba warrior performance catalog and there $44.99 American thats 51 Canadian and tax and shipping, damn they would probably come out to like $70 once all the cost are repaired for. I may be better off just going to the dealer and buying some Yamaha Yellow Shock covers. This may not sound like a lot to your guys but it is to me,(I don't make very much money)

Very good option in that case, aftermarket suspension is expensive as hell. :(

Check out the ads in some of the more popular ATV magazines. You can find a lot of different designs for fairly decent prices.

i got the 2 front shock covers, black with blue flames, for $33 canadian at my dealer, which gets them from partscanada.com
