What does the vent tube do that is connected to the gas cap...and where does it vent to? It goes through a hole by the neutral light, but does it plug in to anything, or does it just vent vapor out to under the bike?

It allows gas tank to vent so you don't get vapor lock. Hose just sits there.

it just vents the fumes of the gas out to under the hood. it does not plug into anything.
