The fuel tank on my 2001 Warrior developed a small leak where the back of the right front fender has rubbed thru it. I checked the left side and it is worn too, but not all the way thru. I will place some sacrificial wearing hard plastic over these areas after it is fixed, I just don't know what the best fix would be. First thing that comes to mind is good old JB Weld or maybe some epoxy. Anyone have a favorite product to repair pinhole leaks in plastic?

This is a really interesting problem I have NEVER encountered or heard of this before (and ive worked on a lot of warriors). I say **** repairing it just get a new one bro you can get them so cheap on ebay; like under $10.00...

Search "Yamaha Warrior gas tank" there is like 40 of them...

I think there is suppose to be foam parts on the plastic between the fender and the gas tank; maybe yours have been missing for a while and it wore through? I would buy a tank off eBay and put those foam parts on if you don’t have them.

Wow that is cheap, I thought they would be around 75-$100.
Thanks

Sounds like great advice, thanks alot. Ebay here I come.
Shure seams cheap compared to other parts I have bought.

Just an update. Found a tank on e-bay for $9+9 shipping, what a great deal. Thanks for the advice.
In the mean time I epoxied it so I could still ride. Epoxy worked! So now I will wait and see if it starts leaking again, if so I gottem the part on hand.
