its a race where u have so many laps depending on the size of the gauntlet vehical (usally a van suv or bus i had to go after another car) to disable it in some way. if the chase cars disable the gauntlet vehical they win, but if the gauntlet vehical finishes the required amount of laps it wins. we won, i tboned the car right in the passanger side. it was a big lincon. it still runs so im going to fix her a little and put her in the next one a month from now.

update on the car she still runs but i never got to derby it, because my wife and i were in madison wi have twin girls. so im gonna store her over the winter and if the motor dont lock im gonna run it in next years gauntlet.

if it had been a turbo i wouldnt have done that. it was a 88 w/3.8, after my girls were born i ended up junkin it cause the steering column was broke.

As for the car, a steering colum couldnt be too hard to find.. ?

I have a couple a 2.3T in my 2 murkers. The thunderbird ecu and maf are the key to a cheap awaking the engine.

I have a holset turbo and such to go on one I plan to drop into my s12.. hehe.

anyways, congrats on the gals, and too bad about the car being dropped. hope you still find your wy to races, either as a participant, or spectator!
