i ran a cheapie helmet for a while it doe sthe job but is not as comfortable on the longer riding days as the expensive ones... i know thats like saying a steak at apple bees is ok but a steak at Mortons is better but its true.. but i wouldnt know the difference had i not gotten my "expensive" helmet at a good price..

also w the goggle you might notice them fog up on you easier due to less engineered ventilation..

but other then that who cares it was a good price!

^^i agree i have the $140 AFX fx-19 helmet (which is thier most expensive) and it is awesome!! it feels like im wearing a regular hat!.. i actually love wearing it! now i know there are even more expensive helmet than that but i can imagine it getting better (but then again thats what i thought when i was wearing the streetbike helmet that is too small for me)

oh and as far as googles go i run the cheap ones, that way i dont want to cry when they get covered in mud and scratched, i just buy a new pair (tho honeslty i take good care of my googles and havent actually had to do that yet) my friend buys $70+ googles and crys if a bug lands on them

good price. I'm lucky to live my an outdoors man store that has a motoparts section and they always have a huge clearance area. Always snaggin killer killer deals outta there. My buddy lil sister worked there and I'd occasionally get stuff that "fell off the truck"

yeah my last goggles were a cheap scott ones and they would fog when I stopped so I'd have to take them off everytime I stopped for a few minutes. but fog went away as soon as I started moving again.
