getting the title

is a copy of the original title signed by the 1st owner, sold to me from the second owner good enough for registration? How hard is it to get a replacement title if the 2nd owner dosent have an original? some of you must have run into these problems

well my problem is my dealer was a thief..he never sent any of the titles out to be transferred so he didnt have to pay any tax but rather pocket the money..im now wanting to sell my warrior..so i have to go find the receipts and **** take it to the some guy the kind of sue the dealer..he is now out of buisness..wonder y?
