Does anyone race these with a warrior? I wanted to get some info on setting up a warrior for this style of racing.

i don't race but i'm also thinkin about doing it this summer and prolly need some info also

what class to start in? suspension setup? best part upgrades? which exhaust will pass a DB test? lots of stuff...

Sport class is your best bet on a Warrior. You'd have the largest motor allowed in the class, which could be an advantage. Six ply tires, a beefy front bumper, and some skid plates (and don't forget a tether) could get you going at first. Try it and see if you like it. If you do you can get into suspension, nerfs, etc. Just make sure you like it before you go overboard. You're talking about racing for 2+ hours at 110% speed, it's not easy and it's not for everyone.

Well what is the widest you would wanna go in the front and rear? I want to go as wide as I can without getting stuck between 2 trees.
So sport class would be good to start with. If I put the fst 446 kit in then I would have to run a diff class right? What would be a good class if I start with that motor?

Most people seem to think 46" is a good width for XC. Some are wider, some more narrow. I guess it depends on what it's like where you live. Is everything really really tight, or is it more open and fast paced? The 446 would definately put you in a different class. What class you'd run in would depend on what series your in. They all have different classes to a point, but you'll want to stick to some sort of beginner class.
