We needed to buy another quad for my husband ,but could not find a 450 that was not beat for the amount of money we wanted to spend. So we found a 2008 yamaha raptor 250 in great condition that needs nothing so I guess i have to take that. I will post pictures soon..:argh:

not to sure, have you tried Toys R' Us? :haha: no, im just teasing you.
i'm also a member on Quadzone forums, theres a ton of helpful members on there that can help with your 250, the 250 is the new hot set up for junior class xc racing. I've seen some aftermarket parts for sale on there site

over size gas tank $75
shocks for $175

there's quite a following on atvriders, the one mod built a sick one for her son. btw what happened to the yellow warrior

I will check out atvrider. We sold the yellow warrior to buy our son the Raptor 350. My husband gave me his warrior so he could get a 450 but after looking for something in the 2500 range we came up empty handed. Their plenty for sale in that price range but we drove a total of 10 hours going to see many quads but they where all junk. They all have engine work and tons of aftermarket so people race the hell of them. The 250 was used for 5 hours and it looks it, I just have to make a little faster.

We look at a couple 1999's they where in the 2200. We wanted to find a good deal times are tuff so we wanted to get the most for our money. The 250 its almost new for $1700 we know we wont have to put a ton of money to fix it.

He is still looking for that right 450...

RaptorForum is really nice. The Raptor 250 section is more active than the 350 section.
