I am looking to get some new handle bars as the stock ones well they just suck. I don't have a clue which bend to get and all of the dealers in my area don't stock a variety pack so I just don't mess with going there period.

I am thinking the pro taper contour "mid bend". I don't want the bars to stick up real high, nor do I want them low because I am 6'2.

Just want to hear suggestions if you have any please post. I want to feel comfortable while sitting and standing. I know with my height I'd probably be better going with the "high bend" but I am picky about looks too and I don't think they would look okay. Correct me if I am wrong.

If you have some pictures post them, if not an opinion is fine. It will also be time to get some new grips but I think I got that covered.

Thanks guys

it's a horrible picture but these are the msr dominator bars that i picked up from one of the local honda dealers. i have no idea what the bend is though. i like them, but if i turn all the way to the left or right, they will hit my knee. i'm about 5-11 so it could be more of a problem for you. once i find some batteries for my camera, i will post a better pic for you. or better yet, if you are in the area, you can always ride it to see if you like them or not.

i also have a set of tusk atv high bend that you can have if you want them. they are cheap as hell though.

20warrior01, it looks like yours are tilted backwards too far. Loosen the clamp and tilt them forward and see how it is.

Pelphrey, the Pro Taper bars I got from Death are great. I don't know what the bend is, but he might.

I like theTAG bars, i have the x5's and they are very strong and look great. Good quality stuff....

I got the moose two piece..they are low bars with a cr bend..I think they are great for control and comfortable...mind you i am 6',..your 2" on me is a good difference,i wouldnt go with a high bar maybe a medium..but i would suggest the cr bend..you can see the bars in my pics on the warrior and on the banshee...but if you want a better one just let me know.

Thanks for all the input.

rfm I like them bars you got beucase they are in 2 pieces. What website sells them?

Kreed I'll talk to death later on today/tonight and find out what bend they are, thanks for the input.

20warrior01 it does look like your bars are adjusted low towards the back. Who knows it could be the picture also. I'll probably wait until I come up your way to ride/sit on it to find out how I like them. I am like the bars with 2 pieces.

Here is what mine look like. I started to leave the cross bar off but "what the heck"...LOL

tag x5 banshee bend...... they are sold now, but the bend for a warrior was awesome

maybe my bars are too far back. i've got them set a little further forward than the angle of my steering stem.

I've got a set of MSR Dominator's, ATV bend.

Dude-you should think about ramping up to the big bars.I think they feel better as far as the shock absorption, and less vibration.Thats my opinion, anyway. These are the Pro-Taper CR-HI bend,$80-$100.The Pro-Taper mounts were $50.The pad was $14.So its kinda spendy but its the way to go.
