I have a warrior I bought off of a guy it ran great for a while, now I have a problem starting it. I have checked timing, I have spark and my valves are in adjustment. If I turn it over of around 2-3 minutes it will start, after it gets warm it will fire right up but not if it is cold. It has brand new carb brand new ignition coil. I don't know what else to check. Help me out guys.

It turns over good, makes a puffing sound when turning over til it cranks. No smoke.

Have you done a compression and/or leak down test? Checking the stator wouldn't hurt either. You say that it has a brand new carb on it. Do you use the choke when cold starting /is the choke working properly? Also, do you have any performance mods done (like a filter/exhaust) because improper jetting can result in hard starting.

Will check compression using thumb test don't have a compression gauge....that will suffice for now
