alright so i am trying to mod my 01 warrior. its realllly clean. mint really. i just got a new Stator and coil put on by Yamaha costed me 604.97 i also bought a new Carb manifold cuz it had a hole in it. that's all in and it runs fine now. but here's the main problem...

i bought wicked =3 a-arms. come with everything. but the joints on the end of the tie rods have a lot of play and are worn out. 1st question. is there any specific joint i need for +3 tie rod ends? and can you tell me brands u recommend? then how do you take the tie rod joints out of the pocket that holds them to them on the bike(hard to explain but u know what i'm talking about? i herd a pickle tool works well. everything such as screws are so hard to get off as far as a socket wrench and socket heads. ughhh. now the a arms don't have grease fittings so i have to take them apart every time i have to re-grease them.... annoying. and i got Douglas rims with Maxxis Razr's on them from my bro, but the for some reason the holes are really far apart and they don't fit the stock axle ends. what up with that. do they make compatible ones? help on that please. and how do u lower and rise YFZ shocks... need help on that as well. i'm a mess. it seems everything is sooooo hard just to swap these simple parts out. can you guys help me out? i know its a lot to ask for but it would mean alllllot and you guys have came through for me every time here at yfm350! love you guys =]

Your rims came from something aside from a Warrior or Banshee or other similar Yamaha quads.
Different bolt pattern = no worky.

Using an automotive pickle fork on tie rod ends will tear the boots, causing the "permanent" silicone grease to leak out everywhere.
Ask me how I know :(

so what do i do??? and is there a axel end that will fit the rims? or i have to get new rims...?

WOW $604 to install a new stator? think of all the cool parts you could of bought!

You need yamaha bolt pattern rims. Sell the rims for some off a yama quad.

The tie rod ends for the wicked can be bought, the whole end needs to be replaced. Simple screw on and off procedure. Just look up tie rod ends on flee bay.

To run the YFZ shocks you need to get the J and A (?) relocater kit. Beastly still might have the one he had (has) for sell.

These quads are actually super easy to work on, just need to used the right parts and do some research. Good luck with your modding. Mod on my friend.

Its diamond j id highly recommend not running yfz shocks they just dont work right and destroy heims like nothing. You need lt a arms or a shock relocator and valved right

ok so far im probably getting banshee front and rear rims and stuff. and then im going to get the tool i need to get these tierods off and im buying new ends for the tierods and joints and stuff. still have an axel, handle bars, heel guards and new cut front plastics on the way.so hopefully all of tha goes on smoothly.

no tool needed for tierod removal take a hammer after you have removed the 17mm nut from the tierod end and hit the spindal and stem were they mount about medium had at a 90 degree angle from the direction it goes through it should pop right out if not it it harder...

ok thanks. i need new wicked tierods ends. should i use stock ones or where do i get new wicked ones? i looked on ebay and i cant find any thing wicked related for a arms and tie rods... any help? also looking for razr rear tires. anybody have them? thanks alot for your help. i truley appreciate it :)

anyone have 11x10 rims that fit 20x11x10 razr's? i need those bad. the holes have to have a 3 and a half distance from eachother to fit a warrior axel. need them badly. and also can any of you guys show me tie rod ends? i need new ones that fit wicked +3. or should i just use the stock ones? thanks for all your help.

20-11-10 let me break the numbers down for ya
the 20 means that the tire hight from groind to top of the tread when mounted will be 20"
the 11 means thats how wide the tread pattern is. its always a good idea to have at least 2" wider tread tires then the wheels to protect the wheel
the 10 means what sive wheel it is just like puting 18" wheels on a sports car ect same idea

now the stock wheel size for a warrior 9x8 which is kinda confuseing because these are number backwards to how the tires are
the 9 means how big the wheel is
the 8 means ho wide the wheel is
