Having trouble with my reverse

Hi guys ive been building my atv for the past month an just finished it an had the first ride today which went pretty good i gotta tweek some stuff but i saw as soon i throw it in reverse it just starts going when i have the clutch in the clutch works as it should in foward but when its in reverse its like i dont even have a clutch any one know anything about this ?

hold both brakes when putting in reverse it will take a few seconds and the clutch will let go and then you can release the clutch lever and back up just a common thing with these warriors
