hc2 break in

I need to break in cam and no trail to ride on its at my shop any advice for break in was going to just rev it half throttle for 30 mins good or bad idea?

When I did my stage one I adjusted the throttle cable at the throttle housing to raise the idle. Be sure to put a fan or two directed at the engine! And use assembly lube on the cam loces when you install it.
