i've got hd's all around and was wondering what you guys run them at. i've got about 3psi in them and they have the flat profile like the typical holeshots. i noticed in the pictures that itp posts, they are more rounded, as if they have a lot more psi in them. anyone know what they are supposed to be ran at?

quad tires aren't like car tires, it's really not that important to follow recommended pressures. I'd try to keep at least 2 pounds in them to keep them on the bead, and just adjust the pressure to where you like the way it rides and performs the best. You don't want the tire to have a rounder profile like the manufacturer's picture shows them as anyways. My tires are just naturally a little rounded like that, and the center is worn down to about 25% tread, and the tread towards the outside of the tire still has like 75% left because only the center makes good solid contact with the ground most of the time.

i was just curious because of the pics itp shows. i'm gonna keep running 3 in them

In the razor2's I run 1.5 psi in the softer trails and about 2.5 to 3 on hard packed surfaces. The 6ply razor2's or hd tires can run with almost no pressure from the extremely stiff sidewalls. Many of the older tires had more of a rounded shape before, but they've made them flatter with more tread in the last few years. That might of been an older pic you saw, I saw the same thing back when the razor2's came out. By the time I bought them they stayed flat even with a very high pressure in them.

i just put the recommended pressure in them. 9 in the fronts and 8 in the rear. that seems pretty high to me, but it handles 110% better on hard surfaces. turning is easier and more crisp, for lack of a better word. we just had about 6 inches of rain over the weekend so i will find out how they do in the mud next time i go riding.
