I just pulled off my damaged header and was ready to put my replacement OEM header on....

I snapped off the head of both bolts that hold it on...

How am I gonna get them out???

un i used a new pair of plyers with verry good grip and penteration oil and soaked the bolts for a while and turned them out. or if u drill a small hole in the stud and buy a dk or chrastman easy out kit and hit in and turn out

yeah this seems to be a good time to go out and buy an easy out set. Very easy to use. Drill a hole a little bit smaller then the easy out then bash the easy out in the hole so you can get it out. You can use plyers also if you can get a good grip but you may take longer. You can buy easyouts cheap at any hardware store and probably get a set between 10 and 20 dollars I would assume.

I haven't found any sets at all cheap. The cheapest set was around $50. I always try a punch first on broke bolts. Just put the punch against the edge of the broke bolt and hit it in the direction to take it out. Be careful not to hurt the threads though. Once you get it started out, you can probably take your fingers to it. On my job, broken bolts are very common so I'm used to using the punch on them. Sometimes you have to have an ease out though, so if you have the money it is a good investment.

You probably wont be able to get them out (they are probably welded in there from the heat). I would at this point take it to a shop & have them take it out and install some helicoils since you are dealing with a VERY expensive part (cylinder head).

^^^What he said^^^

A wise man he is...

When i took my motor apart to go have it built i snapped the bolt also and the guy that done the work drilled them out and put two new ones in there for me. so i would try either a machine shop maybe they will do it for you or you could try it yourself.

Watch the amount of torque on those ones, they actually don't take very much tightening at all, that's a bad way to find out! :'(
