Nice to see this site. Reminds me of another one of old Yamaha iron. Vmax4.com Anyway I started on ATCs back in 83. Honda 110, then on to a Honda 185S. My oldest brother had the cooler ones. 85 250R and 86 350X. In late 80's I bought a 250 Tecate. What fast little ATC that was. Most of my riding was done back then climbing gravel pits and farmers fields and a little woods and sand dunes. In 94 I bought a timberwolf and then a 99 wolverine. I basically use them now for working food plots, a little trail riding, or hauling out deer from the woods. Sadly I only actually trail ride probably about ten hours a year lately.
Once in a while when I go buy the old pits I'll take a blast up the face of the pit. Not as fun as flying up it on the Tecate but stiil give you a rush and a reminder of the good old days.
