Bones I have yet to have the broken top mounts all 3 of my wars are fine but my buddys 94 they were both broke guess I'm one of the lucky ones hey! had to give him the 92's mounts

I may regret saying this, but my mounts are most likely original and my buds 88 has the original mounts in it. Not a crack in either. When they do go I'm making my own out of 1/8th steel. I may even do it when I swap engines for my stroker after it's together.

Well pretty sure i found the noise maker,pulled the tank off an guess what ,1 cracked mount an 1 broken mount, looks to have been loose for a long time but hidden with the tank on,no problem to fix that, but,,,, checked the timing chain tensioner an only have a 1\4 inch of adjustment left, looks like some new parts in my future$$$ I can kick myself when I bought this bike that I didnt take plastic an tank off to inspect everything,sitting in my garage now all stripped down,lol!, thanks for all you guys input on this, time to move on to the next project, spend a little money haha.
