Hey,
I've read a lot of posts on the net about people having problems after installing the quiet core for the HMF Performance Series Exhaust. I don't know if there are any threads about this already but i figured i might as well let everyone know of an obvious, good solution.
Went to AutoZone today and purchased a gasket roll. Then cut out a piece to fit the outer lip of the core. After putting my exhaust cap back on there was not one rattle and it actually held the core in there better.
Hope this helps because it took me about 4 days to think of this quick fix although to some it may seem obvious.
