I couldn't decide which section this should go in (it's not a video, it's not a picture) so i'm putting it here. I was bored so I recorded a sound clip doing a WOT run up the road 100 yards or so. It's a little distorted in the beginning because it was too loud for the mp3 player, but you can get the idea at least.

I think that will work, if it doesn't let me know.

that clip doesnt give it justus .. it is much meaner sounding than that .. nice clip though . pipes sound much better live

You should get an HMF then! It actually sounds a lot better in person than it does in that sound clip.

If I rev it up when it's inside the garage it makes my brain itch! yeah it's loud! but with the helmet on you don't realize it

How is that compared to the pro circuit? Do you know by chance? I have the ti-4 on mine and it is pretty coll but I think it may be to loud. People i ride with tell me it is. Is the hmf a better choice? I ride in areas where people live alot and am afraid of pissing everyone off. I would like a bit quieter pipe but keep the performance advantages.

An open HMF is definitely not the thing if you're worried about bothering your neighbors (most people are being bothered when their windows are rattling). With a quiet core HMF will be quieter than the ti-4, but by how much i don't know. I've only heard the ti-4's on 250's so it's hard to compare the loudness.

I'm not a big fan of FMF, but they're the only company I know of that makes quiet series silencers that are ACTUALLY QUIET. Maybe their Q or Q2 would be a good choice for you. I think they're overpriced too, but it's your choice.

hes right it sounds like it has a pair of balls in person, also this is the guy i talked to about HMF and he knows what hes talking about. i am happy with the performance and sound!!!
