How tight should this nut be

I recently noticed my wheels wobbled so i inspected the axle and wheels and found that the nut that holds the hub was loose. ( the one the couter pin goes through ) so i tightned it and now the wheels dont wobble at all. is there a torque setting for these nuts i just tightened it as tight as i can get it and stuck in the pin. is that okay?
