how to get more acceleration

right the tracks i ride on only have short straights inbetween the jumps and corners so i need to know what i can do to get more acceleration than top end speed best set up to use...

Just 1 tooth smaller in the front. Best bang for the buck
No change in the rear.
What is the number of teeth on your front sprocket?

i currently have 15 tooth on the front

I think a lot of us run the 14/40 combo. (front/rear)
New front is less than $20.

15 is super huge! Especially if your bike has very little in the way of mods. Stock is 13/40, which may be too low a gearing depending on the size tires you have. Best to try a 14 up front and see how you like it.

What size tires? If he's track riding on 18's then his 15/40 combo prolly feels alot like our 14/40. I'm 14/38 right now and it still revs out quick.

Is that a woodruff key?? I'm replacing my one way this weekend if that's it I can do that to
