OK this is really stupid to ask, but if I don't ask then how will I ever learn. Right? Ok I have seen that the raptor 660 and 700 have two exhaust head pipes going into one pipe. But here is where I am confused. aren't they only one cylinder? I know they are 4 valves, 2 intake 2 exhaust. But why 2 head pipes? Some one please explain this to me.

They are actually 5 valve heads. Three intake and two exhaust. The reason for one pipe for each exhaust port is for flow. And it is way easier to just bolt on a flange with a second pipe than to come up with a way to bring the two of them together into one exhaust port.
