I got my Truck....Finally!

Its a 2001 Dodge Ram quad cab 2500. 3in lift with 33" GT Radial Adventuro on all four. 48,800 miles, diamond plate truck box All for the low price of 9,500!!!! Hells Yeah. ;D ;D It needs a bath :'(

Damn, you're brave to buy a truck that's good for about 8 mpg with the fuel prices crazy like this, and rising with no end in sight. My buddy has a dodge like that with the 5.9 and with 33" tires and a small lift kit he only gets about 6 mpg out of it. I think i'll stick with my little 305 gmc, that gets me close to 18 if I stay out of the throttle. Nice looking dodge though.

hahahah, Yeah I've gotton a lot of that, luckily I work really close to home. And the driving I do on the weekends isn't too much unless I decide to go to a race. It is a gass hog but its not hurtin my pocket all that much, for now. 8-10mpg road and about 16-18mpg hwy.

351 windsor rare? I wouldn't say that it's really a rare engine at all. Ford put those things in everything back in the 70's and early 80's. You just don't see them much more these days because they were phased out from the late 80's to early 90's.

I meant rare as in, rare to see around today. Most cars running them have long been fazed out due to rust or what not.

Just put in a ram air intake, its sound awsome and helps out a surprising amount on HP and mpg. I got it off ebay for 80 bucks.......came with a heat shield and everything. No directions but it was a simple install. Ill post up a pic.
