Well I may be trading my Warrior for:

1998 Blaster and a 2003 ttr 125. The way i figured im getting the better deal. Ill sell the ttr and keep the blaster. The blaster comes with an extra engine but it has a hole in it.

What do you guys think. Im serious about this one. He may be coming up tommorow and i want to make sure im not getting ripped. What should i look for in the blaster. Ive never messed with a pinger before.

no? Im just looking for the best way to make money off of my warrior. Im in debt with my parents and i thought if a itraded, i could sell the dirtbike for around 1200. and keep. the blaster. Ive put around 2600 in the warrior all together, And i see ttr125s sell around here all the time for 1200, If the blaster plus engine is worth 1500, it would be evem but im not sure what a 98 blaster is worth. He says hes not sure whats on the blaster but it and the 125 have had the top ends rebuilt in the last year.

Dude first off you should never made that trade in my oppinion. Second off i would keep the ttr and sell the blaster(becuase its a blaster), therd off if your taller then 5'7" and still growing neather of those bikes will fit you right.

heres what i would do, if you take everythign you have aftermarket off your warrior if you have any aftermarket stuff, and put stock stuff back on Then trade. You should then sell both the ttr and blaster, and buy another warrior and use the rest of the money for aftermarket stuff. Or you should sell both bikes and all your aftermarket stuff and get what ever you want thats actualy better then a warrior(not blaster or ttr125).

There really is no aftermarket on my Warrior. Just the piston. Whats so wrong with Blasters? not to start anything, but i see them as more of a play bike, Im not really looking to go pro on it, This summer when i get make some cash, ill buy another atv, maybe another Warrior.

My main question is, is it a fair trade? I know what my warrior is worth and the ttr but Im just sketchy on what a 98 blaster is worth.

I don't know what your Warrior is worth, so I can't say if it's a fair trade or not. But unless the Blaster has at least "some" work done to it, it'll get boring quick. Worked over Blasters are a hoot though, so if it has a couple dollars in it it'll be a good time.

idk...blasters+1998=usually beat to ****...imo you are getting ripped off but hey thats me

exactly man, i would do it, blasters are so much fun and like you said its not like your going pro, its just for fun

Well the blaster was bored last year, so i shouldnt need a new top-end. And he said it been garage kept. It also comes with an extra engine, but im not sure how good it is.

Just thought of something.....drum brakes ???

Yeah..., i just assumed that was part of owning a blaster. Ive seen where guys have gotten enough hyrdolic brake parts together to set some up. It doesnt matter to me whats up front i just want Hydros in the back.

I think it was 03 and newer that had hydros. You can get the kits but they cost upwards of $500. I've seen Banshee spindles and hydros fitted up front, so that may be an inexpensive option too. If you've ever ridden a Blaster with drum brakes you'd avoid doing it again....lol.

Oh yeah, I'd be more worried about the front than the rear. 90% of my braking is front brakes, they slow you down a lot faster than locking up the rear and dragging it behind you.

I just dont like blasters but one of the main reasions is its a 2-stroke and the other main one is there really small and stubby. Unless your flying i dont think you could look good on that thing. If i were you and you wanted to keep something and get somthing new in the summer. I would keep the ttr, i would take it over a blaster but i think bikes are funner to **** around on well small ones.

Wow i need e-slapped for even thinking about trading the Warrior. They came over and they were just above junk. And i rejetted my Warrior and its a beast.
