idle

so i just got my warrior and when i start it it doesnt seem to idle steadily, it goes up and down and just fluxuates. why might this be?

Air leak or valve timing

Try spraying staring fluid round the carb boot, where the carb connects to the engine. If it revs up at all from that its time for a new boot.

Most likely, you have an unmetered air leak. When and how did it start?

i jsut got the quad. it just gos to a very high idle now, i dont know why

Is the carb stuck on choke?
